With their latest campaign, Calvin Klein continues to prove that they are the experts in minimalism. For Fall 2021, the brand is unveiling the latest chapter of their #mycalvins movement dubbed, The Language of Calvin Klein. This multimedia campaign, directed and captured by photographers Renell Medrano and Hong Jang Hyun, furthers the label’s exploration of speech and clothing as a means of self-expression.
Starring in the campaign is a diverse cast of internationally sourced creatives including the likes of actor Damson Idris, singer/songwriter Deb Never, vocalist Dominic Fike, global artist JENNIE, actor Francesca Scorsese, model Kaia Gerber, and singer Moses Sumney. The images of each of these young talents see them lounging in their effortlessly cool Calvin Klein pieces, seemingly thinking deeply or daydreaming.
As far as the garments themselves go, the photographs showcase the brand’s Fall 2021 products, which focus on elevated modern essentials with a distinct emphasis on both comfort and minimalism. The underwear line once again sees the use of soft, stretchy, Modern Cotton, with each piece designed with the original, white Calvin Klein logo band. On the other hand, Modern Structure delivers a collection of consciously made, clean-cut silhouettes.
For jeans, an array of hoodies and tees celebrate the iconic brand monogram, while new denim icons include cropped jackets and relaxed styles made in an environmentally friendly manner, with organic denim that uses less water in the dye process. All-in-all, with this campaign, Calvin Klein continues to show that their brand of simplicity is timeless and #mycalvins is truly for everyone.
