American actress Chloë Grace Moretz is the face of a new mentorship program aimed at inspiring young women to encourage, support, and empower each other to pursue and achieve their dreams. Kicking off on the world’s sixth International Day of the Girl, the #ActuallySheCan initiative launches today and stars Moretz in an Inez and Vinoodh-lensed campaign with fellow actress Gabourey Sidibe, model Iman, gymnast Gabby Douglas, and television presenter Amanda de Cadenet. Alongside each of the prolific stars are the women who have inspired them most throughout their lives—which for Chloë, is her single mom Teri.

“I think everyone’s built-in mentor can be their parent,” says the actress in the campaign’s accompanying video series. “And that’s definitely been the case for me. There have been so many times when I’ve called her and said, I don’t know how to do this, I don’t know how to make a decision.” Moretz also discusses how she copes with life in the spotlight, combating body insecurities, and why she thinks that identifying as a feminist is a no-brainer. “Feminism to me is just equality,” she rightfully says.

In practice, the #ActuallySheCan program has paired up with TedWomen, Tribeca Digital Studios, and Wanderlust Festival on a range of female-only, predominantly online experiences. Ranging from interviews to career advice, the content will be updated daily at actuallyshecan.com. Scroll through to see Chloë in the full campaign and join us in love and support for all females around the world—there’s nothing women can’t do or be.
