One of the most anticipated shows of Paris men’s fashion week, the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2019 menswear runway welcomed streetwear giant Virgil Abloh as the brand’s new artistic director. Nearly everyone from Rihanna to Kanye West and Kim Kardashian-West were in attendance. The sprawling, rainbow runway featured tie-dye looks and multi-pocketed, neon vests, giving a not-so-subtle nod to the ’90s. Between all-white, minimalistic outfits, an aluminum-looking poncho, and The Wizard of Oz-themed sweatshirts, there was truly something for everyone. It seems that the collection did not disappoint: rapper West and Abloh shared a tender moment following the designer’s standing ovation.
