For the first time for the storied Italian house, Prada is showing its Men’s Spring/Summer 2020 show in a city outside of Milan, namely Shanghai. The event will coincide with the 40th anniversary of the twinning of the cities of Shanghai and Milan.
“China has always occupied a prominent place in Prada‘s imagination: in particular, the city of Shanghai and its rich cultural life,” Miuccia Prada said in a statement. “The attitude and identity of Shanghai, its dynamic fusions of past and present, old and new, are sources of constant exchange and interest.”
