Straight from Milan Fashion Week, Veronica Etro steps up for Etro’s latest collection with a mesmerizing and kaleidoscopic take of the fashion house’s signature paisley print. The show features models Adut Akech, and Irina Shayk, and Cara Taylor in eclectic, colorful looks with contrasting silhouettes.
The show started off with bright warm tones: reds, oranges, and yellows, and optical swirling prints. The multi-pattern looks consist of large jackets, flowy dresses, and menswear-inspired shapes offered a fresh new take on Etro’s iconic house codes. As the show continued, the color theme changes, as pinks and reds are introduced, with feminine silhouettes of halter tops and sparkling earrings and makeup.
Western inspirations are shown throughout the show, with patchwork denim, metallic details, and tassels incorporated into each look. Varying textures and profiles are portrayed, with traditionally feminine silhouettes of goddess-like flowing gowns and cheeky cutouts.
The fashion house’s classic paisley print takes a nostalgic turn, with a bandana-esque pattern peeking through on patchwork patterned dresses and pants. Inspired by escapism and mindfulness, this collection shows the masculine-feminine juxtaposition with optical prints and bright colors, portraying the freedom of style.
