Design Duo Blindness Put South Korea on the Map

Throughout South Korea’s history, its fashion industry has typically been dominated by women. This season at Seoul Fashion Week, menswear finally had its day. Among those men’s fashion lines primed for international success is a newer brand, Blindness, which positions itself as androgynous with a glamorous male twist. Blindness is a design duo led by Shin Kyu Yong and Ji Sun Park, and they recently made it to the semi-finals for the 2017 LVMH Prize. Following their show, which was widely received as the highlight of the week, we caught up with the pair to learn more about Blindness and South Korea’s burgeoning gender fluid fashion scene.
