For Texas native Brandon Maxwell, his Spring/Summer 2019 collection’s homage to his roots was two-fold. Models dressed in romantic fuschias, sunbursts of gold, seaforms, and teals descended a runway flanked by cars to adhere to the tailgating theme. Maxwell also convinced Kia, a sponsor, to donate to the school system in Marfa, where the socioeconomic divide is steep. Click through to see every look from the collection.
