Louis Vuitton’s last show for Fall/Winter 2020 was a vivacious costume theatre spectacle staged inside the Louvre. This season, Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquière ups the ante by exploring anachronism, or juxtaposing chronological inconsistencies, as he unveils Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2021 womenswear collection. With a technologically immersive show on the top floor glass dome of the vast commercial complex La Samaritaine, Ghesquière’s much-anticipated hyper-modern presentation is bound to spearhead the mechanical stride for fashion runways, and bid a bittersweet farewell to Paris Fashion Week.
