Guess’ New Campaign Exudes Nostalgic ’90s Summer Fun

Guess’ newly launched campaign evokes the sun-kissed summer we’ve all been missing. Tapping into ‘90s nostalgia, the brand sends us back to the decade of glamour and grunge through its retro Guess Originals Fall 2020 collection and campaign, photographed using film and Polaroids. Directed by Nicolai Marciano, the Director of Brand Partnerships at Guess, and shot by photographer Sam Damesheck, the images conjure wistful memories of poolside fun.

A modern spin on vintage Guess, the Originals capsule highlights the brand’s early days with pieces perfect for transitioning from summer to fall. Archival graphics first designed in the ‘90s are revived for the collection. Menswear styles consist of jackets, logo hoodies, bold striped tees, and the brand’s trademark denim. The women’s offering sticks to soft tones for striped cropped tees, polos, tank tops, and bodysuits. With touches of its vintage branding, elements of Guess’ heritage are consistently referenced in its Fall 2020 collection.

The Guess Originals Fall 2020 capsule will be available online and in stores from August 11, 2020.
