Re/Done is releasing a new collection of jeans in collaboration with six notable figures in the fashion industry from around the world. The #MyRedones collection, which officially launches March 9, features new denim styles created by Amina Muaddi, Hikari Mori, Caro Daur, Blanca Miro, Savi, and Pixie Levinson. Each girl brought their own fashion sense and individuality to their limited-edition jean, offering a sustainable take on their own aesthetics. The collection will be available online through Re/Done and Net-a-Porter, and will be sold in an exclusive retailer in each designer’s home country, selected by the collaborator.

Founded by Sean Barron and Jamie Mazur, Re/Done is all about luxury-level sustainable denim, bringing customers vintage jeans and other easy staples like tees, turtlenecks, and jackets. For the latest collaboration, the concept was born from the brand’s digitally-native identity and the growth of #MyRedones on Instagram. “Over the years the hashtag sort of took on a life of its own garnering thousands of posts. This gave us access to see how people self-styled their Re/Dones,” Barron said in a statement. “When it came down to naming the collaboration it made sense to go back to our hashtag that fully embodies individuality. Each girl’s design hopefully represents a different point of view from within the MyRedones family.”

Each collaborator took inspiration from formative decades for denim. Muaddi reconstructed Levi’s high-rise jeans, giving them a ’60s-inspired look with added patchwork. Mori and Miro went with the ’70s. Mori’s pair include a retro suspender detail, while Miro’s feature rainbow embroidery on the Re/Sponsible denim produced with reduced water and chemicals.

Levinson also redesigned the Re/Sponsible denim, but with an ’80s twist: a punk-ish, slouchy pair of black wide-leg, high-rise jeans. Savi and Daur opted for a ’90s spin, with a double-yolk peg leg silhouette and a classic stretch style, respectively. “A perfect jean to me is one that makes you feel comfortable and confident in every moment,” said Savi.

Each style uniquely reflects its designer, staying true to Re/Done’s mission of individuality. They also uphold the brand’s commitment to sustainability. The collaborative jeans are produced in Re/Done’s factories, many using vintage Levi’s or other post-consumer recycled fabric, aligning with Re/Done’s commitment to producing less water waste.

Early access to Re/Done’s #MyRedones collection is now available online.
