Kim Kardashian Announces New Reality TV Show

Following Kim Kardashian’s horrific robbery in Paris last October, many questioned if the famous star would return to the spotlight. Filming of her family’s reality television show ground to a temporary halt and Kim’s social media accounts went without any new posts for weeks. As she gradually started to reappear in the media, (first on Instagram and then on Twitter), speculation about what degree of access she’d grant the public to her life moving forward still circled.

Seven months have passed since then and Kim’s life has returned to what only she could class as “normal.” Keeping Up With the Kardashians has returned to its usual slot on E! and Kim’s back to walking the red carpet at major events like the this week’s Met Gala. With an increased security team, she’s welcomed camera crews back into her life with open arms. Any lingering queries about her potential next moves will be further answered by her latest announcement: Earlier today, Kim revealed that she’s teamed up with Lifetime to film a new reality TV show.

Titled Glam Masters, the upcoming series will give aspiring makeup artists and beauty bloggers the chance to work for Kim. The winner will be named the beauty director of Kardashian Apps after competing with other contestants in a range of head-to-head challenges each week. According to a statement from the network, Kim’s looking for contestants “to show they have the talent, charisma and vision it takes to be the next big name in the beauty world.”

Production on Glam Masters is slated to start this summer and hopeful contestants can apply for a slot on the show by filling out an application form here.
