In February, Chanel announced the release of it’s much anticipated new bag, the “Gabrielle.” The eponymous bag incorporates and reimagines all of the classic elements of Chanel, there is the quilting, the iconic chain, and the interlocking C’s prominently featured; but in distinctly modern, practical shape. In a statement Karl Lagerfeld said of the bag, “everyone called her Coco but her real name was Gabrielle. It’s the perfect name for a handbag that has all the codes of Chanel.” It has all the makings of new Chanel classic.

To celebrate the new bag, Chanel is releasing a series of new short films. The four films feature, Kristen Stewart, as well as longtime Lagerfeld muses Cara Delevingne, Caroline de Maigret, and Pharrell. The first film featuring Stewart, directed by Daniel Askill, will be released today. The eerie short is strikingly reminiscent of her recent film Personal Shopper. In the film Stewart is searching for the late designer’s spirit, and stumbles upon the Gabrielle bag. She puts the bag over her shoulder and receives the validation that she has captured the aura of Chanel.

You can purchase the Gabrielle bag now, the next short film featuring Delevingne will be out April 10th.
