Back in April, Gigi Hadid fooled some of her 35 million Instagram followers into thinking that she’d shorn off her long, blonde, bombshell hair. The model commented back to the believers that the cut was just a joke, but today’s revealing of Stuart Weitzman’s Fall 2017 campaign will have fans wondering again, has she? or hasn’t she?
For Gigi’s fourth consecutive turn as the face of the brand, the model was photographed by Mario Testino sporting a dramatically short pixie-crop. As real as the Twiggy-esque style looks, it’s actually a wig. Cut by hair pro Shay Ashual to mimic the hair of Jean Seberg’s character in the classic French movie, Breathless, its tousled, nonchalant nature lends a 1960s twist to the double-take-inducing images.
