Newly appointed creative director Daniel Lee presented his first full runway collection for the Italian heritage brand yesterday in Milan. The former director of ready-to-wear at Celine showed deep understanding of Bottega Veneta’s roots as a definitive luxury brand, while putting his own spin on things. Lee utilized some of the brand’s trademark mediums and strategies, such as leather, weaving, muted tones, and tailoring, keeping it original and updating where needed.
