The Istanbul-based lifestyle brand makes an appearance at the highly anticipated Art Basel in Miami at The Webster’s iconic South Beach concept store. Les Benjamins will be previewing their Pre-Spring/Summer 2022 collection, featuring hand-painted prints by Neill Raitt.
Creative Director Bunyamin Aydin designed the collection pulling inspiration from gardens as a space of mental cleansing. The collection takes on a rich soothing color palette reminiscent of uniting oneself with natural surroundings. “The pop-up will see the East Coast store transformed into Marrakech’s Majorelle Gardens. Citing the gardens’ innate ability to cleanse the mind and spirit during the Covid-19 lockdown,” said Aydin. The limited-edition capsule collection consists of jersey T-shirts, bucket hats, swimwear, and more by the designs of Neill Raitt, and 100 percent silk dresses, shorts, and more in a Majorelle-Garden print.
The pop-up was designed by Dong Ping Wong of the renowned architectural studio, Food New York, with a life-size recreation of the fountain and cacti of the Majorelle Gardens in the windows, and details of pastel green tile, royal blue felt, and marigold yellow.
The pop-up and collection will be running from December 2 to 12 in Miami then migrate to Webster Los Angeles and finally New York.
