In the latest episode of Victoria’s Secret’s podcast, VS Voices, award winning host and photographer Amanda de Cadenet sat down with beloved supermodel and CR Fashion Book cover star Adut Akech for a deep discussion that goes beyond the runway. “The promise I made to myself is I’m always gonna use my voice when it comes to things that matter to me, it’s not just me, me doing what I do is for an entire community and it’s for an entire village, it’s for an entire race,” Akech tells de Cadenet. “I’m always going to use my platform and whenever I have the opportunity to speak – and I’m always going to speak even if I’m not presented the opportunity – but if those opportunities are there I’m going to take them.”
