It’s the summer of fashion pop-ups, over-the-top events, cute photo moments, and overall fabulousness. With that in mind, Burberry has announced its summer monogram, TB Summer Monogram, by taking over the Goodtime Hotel in Miami Beach.
To celebrate the great outdoors and capture the spirit of summer, Burberry has taken over the hotel’s The Pool at Strawberry Moon and re-outfitted it in head-to-toe TB Summer Monogram — talk about an Instagram moment. An ode to the house’s founder Thomas Burberry (hence the “TB”), the new pattern refreshes the pool area with blues and greys and can be found everywhere from the cabanas to canopies, day beds, lounge seating, and parasols. Guests can also visit a TB Monogram-wrapped popsicle cart to enjoy cold treats throughout the day.
The Goodtime Hotel is owned by Pharrell Williams and David Grutman and known for its hip and chic vibe. Burberry’s takeover only elevates this sentiment further.
While the original TB Monogram was first revealed in August 2018 by Riccardo Tisci and Peter Saville, Tisci unveiled this newest summer edition just a couple weeks ago on July 12 with a campaign featuring the iconic Naomi Campbell. (Gigi Hadid starred in the original monogram’s campaign while Kendall Jenner starred in a second version.) This year’s evolution of the monogram can be seen on several pieces, including lightweight womenswear, menswear, and unisex pieces such as nylon coats and jackets, silk sets and dresses, swimwear, stretch-jersey bodysuits and leggings, cotton hoodies and T-shirts, and other accessories.
This Miami Beach hotel isn’t the only spot we’ll be finding the summery monogram. The house shared that the Burberry TB Summer Monogram will show up in unexpected destinations around the world throughout the rest of the season. We’ll be patiently waiting to see where the monogram will pop up next (but for now, catch us at The Pool at Strawberry Moon).
Burberry’s takeover at the Goodtime Hotel’s The Pool at Strawberry Moon is from July 20 to 25 and is open every day from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The new TB Summer Monogram collection is available to purchase online and in select Burberry stores worldwide.
