Olivia Vinten is not your average model. The Danish beauty has not only walked in some of the biggest shows during fashion week, but she has also appeared in some major editorials and ad campaigns. The quarter-Guyanese model is currently signed with agencies in New York, Milan, Paris, London, and her hometown of Copenhagen, Denmark. She recently stopped by the CR office to give us an inside look at what she loves, and discuss her future plans.

What are some of your favorite spots in your hometown and in New York?
„I love the canals in Copenhagen. In New York, I really like the Lower East Side and Chinatown.“

When did you first start modeling?
„I began doing some part-time modeling work when I was 13, but officially went full-time last summer.“

Who have you modeled for?
„Fendi, Off-White, Etro, Hugo Boss, Moncler, Blumarine, Giambattista Valli, and others as well.“

What’s your favorite memory in modeling or fashion so far?
„Last December, I took a trip to Mexico to do a campaign for Etro, which was really cool. I recently did a photoshoot in Bali, which was beautiful.“

Whats your own personal favorite brand?
„I would say Chloé.“

Who’s your style icon?
„I love Adesuwa Aighewi. She’s a model I follow on Instagram.“

What got you interested in fashion?
„I love traveling, meeting new people, and getting the opportunity to experience new cultures which fashion allows me to do.“

Where do you like to travel to?
„My top two cities are New York and London.“

How would you describe personal style?
„Minimalist for sure, sometimes even boy-ish. I tend to wear a lot of baggy clothes.“

What are some of your favorite places to shop?
„I love thrift shopping in vintage stores, but I get a lot of my basics from Uniqlo.“

What kind of music do you listen to?
„Mostly R&B and hip-hop.“

What are some of your plans for the future?
„I plan on studying psychology in Denmark. They have free college, so I definitely want to stay there.“
