Aurore Franche is making a name for herself in high fashion. Discovered by her agent while on the streets of Paris, the 19-year-old has quickly proven herself to be a casting favorite for houses including Louis Vuitton and Dior. A native Parisian, Aurore dishes to CR about her musical upbringing, her go-to style, and what she’s loved most about being in New York.

How did you get started in your career?
„My agent walked up to me on the street and gave me his card. I thought it was a joke! I called my mom and she had to tell me that I was wrong and that it was a real agency. We’re still working together and I’ve been modeling for about a year now.“

Do you see yourself working in fashion 10 years from now?
„Sure! Why not? I love to live life one day at a time. I don’t have a plan. Who knows where I’ll go next or what I’ll do? The great thing about modeling is being able to travel to so many new places and I get to meet so many amazing people. I’d love to continue to model for as long as I can, and if I’m not in fashion for some reason, I’d love to study nutrition. It’s always been an interesting topic to me.“

What’s your favorite memory so far?
„I’ve walked for Louis Vuitton twice and Dior once, so both of those were definitely some of my favorite moments in my career so far. I also had the chance to go to Tokyo for work last year, which was amazing. It’s where I met so many of my friends in the industry and I had an incredible time traveling there.“

Who’s your style icon?
„I wouldn’t say I have one specific style icon, but I love street style in general. Getting dressed up for a classy event is nice when the event calls for it, but my everyday look is pretty much black pants, a hoodie, and a jacket. You can’t go wrong.“

What’s something we wouldn’t know about you?
„I’m a pianist! I’ve been playing since I was five, so I’m pretty good. Also, this is my first time in New York. I’m only here visiting for two weeks, but I love it already. I’ve already been to the Museum of Natural History and Central Park. I loved both of them, especially the park. My favorite thing to do is visit the parks in Paris, so it reminded me of home.“
