Each casting notice or announcement about VSFS 2018 leaves the world aflutter. Who will be doing the makeup? Which supermodels are confirmed to walk? Where will it take place?

Elsa Hosk told People, “It’s just very cool, very simple, modern, and so sparkly—If I would have designed it, it would have looked just like this. I put it on and I was like, ‘It looks like someone just made magic and put it on my body.”

First time, customers will be able to purchase a version of the Victoria’s Secret Dream Angels Fantasy Bra made with Swarovski crystals for 0 on Thursday, Nov. 29.

Update 11/5: Bella Hadid Will Walk

Bella Hadid defended her physique and confirmed her involvement in this year’s VS Fashion Show. She says that she is, “feeling happier and healthier than ever.” She goes on to say that, “all body types are different and react differently to a great workout routine and a healthy diet.” She can show off her form on the glittery runway.

Update 11/5: Musical Guests Are Confirmed!

The runway’s live performances have been confirmed. The Angels will be strutting to the tune of Bebe Rehxa, The Chainsmokers, Halsey, Kelsea Ballerini, Rita Ora, Shawn Mendez, and The Struts.

Update 11/5: The Air Date and Location Has Been Chosen

Pier 94 will house the Victoria’s Secret runway show, models, camera crews and lucky spectators. Viewers will be able to tune in on December 2nd.

Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid Are Confirmed

While the supermodels have yet to officially announce the confirmation themselves, footwear designer Brian Atwood let it slip that he would be creating shoes for Hadid and Jenner for the catwalk event next month.

Atwood shared the exciting news on Instagram Monday:

“Can’t wait to see this beauty @kendalljenner strutting in my shoes for the @victoriassecret fashion show… less than a month away!” he wrote in one post.

He also shared a photo of Hadid from the 2016 show, captioning the post, “Let’s do this @gigihadid @victoriassecret. Can’t wait to show you what we have done for the show!”

Dubbed the “Queen of Prints,” London-based fashion designer Mary Katrantzou has designed an exclusive collection for the show that will be both feminine and sexy. The subsequent Victoria’s Secret x Mary Katrantzou retail capsule collection will feature looks from the runway and will be carried in select Victoria’s Secret stores and on VictoriasSecret.com this holiday season.

“Everything that Victoria’s Secret creates is about a woman feeling confident and empowered—and also having fun with what she is wearing, This collaboration is going to be bold, fun and playful,” Katrantzou said.

The collaboration marks the second time that Victoria’s Secret has partnered with a luxury brand to create an exclusive range, following the Balmain collection.

Though the runway has been broadcast from places like Paris, London, and Shanghai over the years, the brand has decided to return to New York City. The location has been confirmed as Pier 94 on Manhattan’s west side along 12th Avenue.

The taping normally occurs in November, and historically happens twice in one day. That’s right: the VS Angels get two chances to wink into the camera at the end of a long runway, and producers choose which the viewing audience will ultimately see. The official air date has been confirmed as December 2nd, 2018.

43 models have confirmed their official castings in the 2018 VSFS. CR favorite Winnie Harlow will make her debut and Kelsey Merritt will make history as the first Filipino woman to walk. Other debuts include runway regular Willow Hand and Fenty Beauty’s Duckie Thot. In total, 18 newcomers will parade the runway in lingerie and heels, a task that historically launches successful careers for unknown models. Candice Swanepoel and Behati Prinsloo will return after recently giving birth to their second children. Other returning veterans include Sui He, Cindy Bruna, Shanina Shaik, Georgia Fowler, and Devon Windsor. Toni Garrn will return after a four year break, Lily Aldridge will likely be absent due to her second pregnancy, and Alessandra Ambrosio will be missed after walking consecutively for twelve years.

Makeup giant Charlotte Tilbury is confirmed as the exclusive beauty sponsor for 2018, so the faces backstage will be undoubtedly flawless. There will be two limited edition products used on the Angels to achieve the look.

Every year, the costumes are designed around a few themes. In the past, there have been motifs like VS Pink, Dreams, Punk Angels, and an exclusive collaboration with a designer. There has been one theme confirmed, per the partnership above.
