Fashion is fast: we see it, we gag over it, we get it, and then—all of sudden—it’s gone. It’s a terrifying merry-go-round of monotony. Ahead of next season, CR slows down this speed and pumps up the volume, showcasing the best Spring/Summer 2018 collections from New York Fashion Week—the likes of Shayne Oliver’s Helmut Lang and Calvin Klein under Raf Simons—on some of our favorite faces. Commanded by resident casting aficionado Evelien Joos, this video and photo series by Christine Hahn and CR’s Ron Hartleben gives looks-on-looks and features an eccentric cast of competitors—from Dior it-girl Daphne Groeneveld to rappers Tommy Genesis and Vic Mensa—all vying for the golden ticket: a casting callback.
