This coming September, Gucci is expanding its horizons beyond the world of fashion with the launch of a long-awaited line of home accessories and furnishings. Titled Gucci Décor, the range has been designed Alessandro Michele and was announced on the house’s official Instagram account earlier today.|

“Introducing #GucciDécor: a lineup of furniture and decorative pieces designed by #AlessandroMichele to personalize home spaces, featuring the House’s design motifs, patterns and codes,” wrote Gucci in its first post to announce the launch. Several more posts followed, featuring colorful illustrations by Alex Merry Art depicting key items in the range.

Included in the starting lineup are pieces of porcelain tableware, cardholders, scented candles, silk wallpaper, folding screens, metal trays, and an incense burner. Upholstered Gucci Décor chairs and cushions will also be available to shop. Each soft furnishing comes topped with a hand-finished motif (think cat heads, bees, birds, flowers, and snakes), which takes around 10-hours in total to apply.

Michele reportedly collaborated on much of the line with the Gucci-owned Florentine porcelain company, Richard Ginori. Gucci Décor will drop in stores and online in September and is reported to range in price from approximately €150 (4) to €23,000 (,258).
