Every year, leaders from the fashion and creative communities gather at The Center in NYC for the LGBTQ nonprofit’s annual dinner event. Invite-only, this year’s occurrence of Fashion Ceneter was co-chaired by Mark Lee, Dorothy Berwin, Marigay McKee, Siddhartha Shukla, Peter Speliopoulos and Kering’s Laurent Claquin, and raised funds to provide legal clinics, economic empowerment programming, HIV/AIDS support, counseling and more for the LGBTQ community. (Last night the group raised a whopping 0,000.) To celebrate, Monse and Oscar de la Renta designer Fernando Garcia brought CR along for the ride, sharing exclusive moments from the night with us. Scroll through to experience the life-saving event from his perspective.

“The watch is a Christmas present from my boss, Oscar’s son in law, and the shirt is a my only Oscar shirt that I have from when I was his assistant. I consider it lucky.”

“My favorite tom ford blazer.”

“I ran into Jason [Wu] and his gang. I always have good time with them!”

“Marigay McKee is a fellow Spaniard that has always kept an eye out for me. Super supportive friend since Monse started!”

“Glennda [Testone] runs the center. It was an honor to dress her for the event tonight.”

“Ladyfag, Andreja [Pejić], and myself couldn’t resist taking a selfie in the Keith Haring bathroom.”
