The same week that Raf Simons announced his departure from Calvin Klein, the brand’s former women’s creative director Francisco Costa quietly launched his own beauty line, Costa Brazil. Best known for his 14-year stint designing feminine and sporty silhouettes for the classic American brand, Costa is now dipping his toes into the skincare sphere, debuting a line of four products (so far) inspired by the ingredients found in the rainforests of Brazil.

The products themselves are centered around vitamin E, mineral-rich Kaya, antioxidant-packed Cacay, and Breu, a fragrant resin found in the jungles of Brazil. The Oleo Para A Face Kaya Anti-Aging Oil and Corpo Kaya Firming Jungle Oil are meant to boost healthy, hydrated, and younger-looking skin. Costa also created homewares and luxury fragrances, including the Resina De Breu and Vela Candle meant to evoke the aromas native to the Amazon rainforest. The skincare line is clean, vegan, cruelty-free, and environmentally friendly and true to Costa’s minimalistic vision at Calvin Klein, Costa Brazil products are also housed in elegant and sleek packaging.
