Travis Scott‘s Cactus Jack universe has signed with A24 Films to collaborate in a series of special projects aligned with new music. He teased a photo of his first screenplay with the production company on Instagram, writing, “@cactusjack and @a24 set out to bring amazing content for the future. Thru film and media.”

The title on the first draft is partially censored with marker, though fans know it reads “Utopia,” the name of his fourth album expected to drop this year. It’s certain this collaboration with A24 will take fans deeper into the cinematic, post-Astroworld he’s created with the film studio beloved for Uncut Gems, Ladybird, Moonlight, Mid90s, and the series Euphoria. On the second anniversary of his explosive Astroworld album last August, he wrote to fans, “see you in Utopia.”

Most recently, Scott teased a new song, likely off Utopia, named “Escape Plan” at Rolling Loud music festival in Miami. He’s also expected to be featured on Kanye West’s long anticipated new album DONDA, said to drop August 5.

Cactus Jack’s ventures in media reach far and wide, including a themed McDonald’s meal, a concert in the video game Fortnite, his own hard seltzer brand Cacti, and even a collaboration with Kim Jones’ Dior Men 2022 Summer Collection, among many friendships in the fashion world.

There’s no info on official release dates, but as Astroworld‘s third birthday passes, it’s safe to expect more from Mr. Jack in the near future.
