New York City has served as muse and birthplace for many artists, writers, and fashion designers over the years. When it came time for contemporary fashion and lifestyle brand Saturdays NYC to introduce its Pre-Spring 2019 collection today–it was one inspired by the city where it was born and raised.

The brand, which opened its first store on a cobble-stoned street in SoHo ten years ago, has traditionally navigated towards a more minimalist approach but promises to bring a twist of Art Deco to its Pre-Spring’19 collection by taking aesthetic cues from famous New York architecture and the culture that shaped it. While 1920s-inspired prints (flapper girls and mosaic, for instance) adorn camp-collared shirts, a brand new style of pajama shirts will feature an intricate deco pattern.

The Pre-Spring 2019 collection, which marks the first time Saturdays NYC introduces unisex styles to a collection and launches the first unisex lookbook, will also boast exquisite materials including lamb leather jackets, hoodies in angora wool, and short-sleeved sweaters in ribbed cashmere.

The new collection will be available in all U.S. stores, as well as online, on November 1, and will launch worldwide one day later on November 2.
