If you’re in need of even more summer inspiration, Solid & Striped is here to help. A few months after releasing suits that models like Jourdan Dunn and Elsa Hosk co-designed in a Carine-styled campaign, the CR favorite swim brand has announced a new collaboration with denim brand Re/Done. The West Coast-inspired capsule combines the expertise of both brands to create ensembles that seamlessly transition from beach to boardwalk.

Romee Strijd stars in the Mel Ottenberg-styled campaign, which Clara Balzary shot in the three iconic locations around LA. The photos prove Solid & Striped x Re/Done looks work for any West Coast activity, as the model roller skates around Venice, runs around in the Malibu sea breeze, and washes a chic red convertible in Hollywood. In addition to the swimsuit-and-coverup combos, Strijd sports a different pair of retro-inspired sunglasses in each location: tiny cat-eyes, tinted lenses, and rectangular, sporty shades. By shooting the entire campaign on the same model, the brands show how easily one person can make each look work for her unqiue aesthetic.

Within its Southern California theme, the new collection finds inspiration in the identities of three locales. In what looks most similar to the recent model collaboration, the Hollywood kit embodies classic seaside glamour in shades of red, black, and white, combining underwired swimsuits with put-together white denim. Malibu goes more sporty, adding yellow to the color mix and featuring checkerboard detailing, wetsuit tops, and distressed shorts. Finally, Venice is a timely throwback to the ’80s, using tie-dye, pastels, and a slew of scrunchies to embody the beach version of fashion’s new favorite decade.
