Staz Lindes Is The New Face Of Yves Saint Laurent Beauté

News came this morning that 24-year-old model and rock’n’roller Staz Lindes has landed her first major beauty contract with Yves Saint Laurent Beauté. The former CR cover girl and guitarist for Los Angeles-based girl band The Paranoyds will appear in campaigns for iconic products such as Touche Eclat and Vernis à Lèvres lip stain next year.

In a statement, the L’Oréal-owned beauty brand said that Lindes “encapsulates the very essence of 21st century beauty” and is “a true representation of strong femininity today.” It added that “In today’s fast-paced, digital world, individuality, experimentation and a fearlessness tempered by self-awareness are what define truly iconic beauty.”

This isn’t the first time that Staz has been linked to YSL. She walked in Saint Laurent’s Spring and Fall 2016 shows while Hedi Slimane was still in power at the house after the duo met at one of her gigs on the West Coast. She joins fellow musician and actress, Zoë Kravitz in her new role as beauty ambassador.
