Nordstrom Recruits Thom Browne for a Collegiate-Themed New Concepts Collection

For the newest installment of Nordstrom’s New Concepts, the retail giant has teamed up with Thom Browne for the Concept 009 collection. The 30-plus-piece collection includes ready-to-wear as well as accessories, all designed with Browne’s time-honored tailoring to pay homage to the multifaceted art of menswear.

Concept 009 draws inspiration from the collegiate, resulting in a diverse array of homecoming-all-grown-up wardrobe staples and athletic accessories. From varsity-striped bucket hats to tweed jackets and striped tees in muted university shades, each piece infuses collegiate Americana with the designer’s impeccable tailoring. Priced from to ,800, the capsule opens Browne’s once-untouchable luxury to a multitude of budgets and shoppers.

As with all New Concepts collaborations, the Concept 009 collection comes with a brand new in-store experience at Nordstrom. “The capsule was inspired by the spirit and achievement of the varsity athlete,” Browne said. “The environment for in-store experiences was built upon the idea of the classic collegiate locker room.”
