Celebrity Snaps From Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Red Carpet

The fashion crowd made the trek to Brooklyn tonight to witness Rihanna’s second spectacle for her size-inclusive lingerie brand, Savage X Fenty (a separate entity from her newly launched luxury house backed by LVMH). In true Bad Gal form, the CR cover star outdid herself this season, trading last year’s ethereal botanical garden and hypnotic choreography for a celebrity-filled catwalk roster and a performance lineup that made it one of the hottest tickets and most highly anticipated shows during NYFW.

Much like how the now-cancelled Victoria’s Secret show took place weeks before it actually aired on TV, tonight’s show won’t be available to stream until September 20, and only via Amazon Prime (though the collection is already available to shop). In addition to the footage from the runway show, the Amazon special will include an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the preparation leading up to it. In other words, consider it more of a documentary—and one executively produced by Rihanna herself.

As photography inside Brooklyn’s Barclays Center was aggressively prohibited, we’re left with snaps from RiRi’s red carpet for now. With an A-list turnout that could rival the VMAs, it’ll suffice.
