Justin O’Shea Plans His Next Move

According to a new report by Business of Fashion, Justin O’Shea’s abrupt departure from the helm of Brioni hasn’t deterred him from the world of fashion design. The buyer-come-creative director was deemed an unlikely choice by the Italian luxury brand at the time of his appointment given his inexperience in design and his tenure there was short-lived; O’Shea lasted a mere six months, debuting only one collection and an ill-received ad campaign starring heavy metal band, Metallica.

Today it seems he’s bouncing back from the blip at Brioni, with the news of a new line of high-end streetwear going by the name of SSS World Corp. Set to be revealed during the menswear shows in Paris this June, O’Shea is said to describe his new brand as being aesthetically in line with cult-favorites Off-White, Gosha Rubchinskiy and Vetements, with a price point slightly below that of Acne Studios. Speaking to the BoF, he confirmed that SSS World Corp’s full opening lineup will include a graphic-heavy range of tailoring, tees, swimwear, shoes, and accessories. Watch this space.
