The music star’s washable, reusable, cloth masks retail for with 100 percent of the proceeds going towards charities like MusiCares and Help Music, which support the community of musical artists affected by the current pandemic.

“I’m humbled and grateful to work with artists and partners who are passionate and driven to deliver a program that supports those that need it most during this unprecedented time,” said Mat Vlasic, chief executive officer of Bravado, UMG’s merchandise and brand management company. “This initiative will continue to grow and evolve thanks to the hard work from everyone here at Bravado and UMG, along with our artists across the globe.”

Universal Music Group stresses that while the masks are for everyday use, they are not medical-grade equipment or personal protective equipment. “For the avoidance of doubt, the use of cloth face masks does not protect you against COVID-19,” its site states.
