Kim Kardashian West is Creating a Skincare Brand

Kylie Skin is literally quaking.

The 40-year-old reality television and CR 16 star recently filed a trademark for a potential skincare line on Tuesday. Keeping in tune with dropping her royal initials in all of her projects, the line is rumored to be called SKKN by Kim, according to paperwork. The line, filed by Kardashian West’s corporation, kimisaprincess Inc., filed for beauty products like skincare, haircare, nail products, perfumes, and more. Interesting additions include lifestyle tidbits like candles– a nod to a previously filed trademark for KKW Home, last September. There’s no mention of her iconic vampire facial in the line though.

The line extension feels like the perfect next step for the star, who already has KKW Beauty, KKW Fragrance, and SKIMS down her belt. The mother of four isn’t the only pop culture phenomenon in the family with a skincare line. With its millennial pink packaging and exclusive globe-trotting vacations, Kylie Skin is a go-to brand for the KarJenner obsessed. The ultimate girl boss herself, Kris Jenner, also revealed she has a line in the works.

“I’m obsessed with my skin and have always taken really good care of it,” the 65-year-old momager said during an interview earlier this year. “So I do have a skincare line that I love that’s ready to go … When the time is right, a year from now, maybe two — I just think it’s really important for older women to realize that if they just take care of their skin, it’s not complicated.”

Kardashian West has been glowing on social media lately, often posing barefaced for the cameras rather than her standard iconic beat. Perhaps it’s a subtle way to advertise the new line à la Kendall Jenner pre- 818 Tequila launch.

The members of famous family are one of many household names expanding into the growing beauty and skincare world. CR 18 cover star Hailey Bieber announced her line, Rhode Beauty earlier this year, while some of our favorites like Rihanna and CR Japan star Miranda Kerr have trotted along with their labels of Fenty Beauty and Kora Organics, respectively.

Will we have enough cabinet space to keep up with all of the face washers and toners heading our way? Only time will tell.
