Every Look from Burberry Fall/Winter 2020

Like many designers showing at London Fashion Week this season, Riccardo Tisci is exploring what British fashion means in the time of Brexit. For Burberry, it meant a departure from Tisci’s focus on streetwear and a turn towards classic English themes like plenty of plaid and suited silhouettes. The creative director’s youthful eye was still present in bold rugby striped pieces, some shimmering, curve-accentuating ensembles, and sneaker-hybrid footwear. For the most part, however, the collection was a study of modern English dressing, making the fashion house’s classic check print louder than ever.
