Kanye West to Bring Yeezy Season 8 to Paris Fashion Week

Kanye West has been largely absent from fashion month since the last Yeezy collection showed in 2017. This year marks his return, however, as the rapper and designer sent out invitations for a Yeezy Season 8 show taking place on Monday, March 2.

It was also announced that West is hosting a private Sunday Service–where a gospel choir performs his songs–in Paris.

Yeezy Season 8 will be West’s first presentation outside of New York Fashion Week. Previous shows have ranged from a sweltering show on Roosevelt Island in New York City to a stadium-filling spectacle at Madison Square Garden. According to the show invitation “from the West family,” Yeezy Season 8 will be a nod to life on their Cody, Wyoming ranch. Following collections full of streetwear, spandex bodysuits, and other decidedly urban fashion, it will be interesting to see West interpret this more rustic theme.
