Paco Rabanne’s Newly Released Cruise 2020 Collection Travels Through Time and Space

Paco Rabanne’s Cruise 2020 collection brings a 1970s twist to prairie dresses and pinafores, mixing frilly Western with the French fashion house’s signature chainlink and shine. Available to shop now, the assembly of femme fashion comes in an eclectic mix of wallpaper prints constructed into strong tailoring and doll-like dresses with ruffled trim.

Inspired by travel, the final destination for Julien Dossena’s lineup of retro pieces is a sunset-backed California, but a pit-stop in Vegas prompted two t-shirts printed with ‘Paco Motel’ motifs. One in pink plays with a primary color of the collection, featuring an image of a glowing neon sign and vintage cars against a purple sunset. A similar scene in dark blue tones appears on a black cropped tee with a twisted and tucked hemline.

In the collection, the tops are styled with high-shine metallic linked skirts, but we imagine they would look just as chic worn with the cropped straight leg pants and layered with one of the straight-cut blazers in houndstooth or floral chintz.

The Paco Rabanne Cruise 2020 collection is now available to shop online and at the Paco Rabanne store in Paris, 12 Rue Cambon.
