Last September, Nicolas Ghesquière presented Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection that put a modern spin on the Belle Époque, marked by psychedelic prints and Art Nouveau motifs. These themes are highlighted in the newly unveiled campaign, which stars Emma Stone and Chinese actress Zhong Chuxi. Stone has been a muse of the French fashion house in recent years, wearing Ghesquière’s designs to movie premieres and red carpets, in addition to fronting Louis Vuitton’s Prefall 2018 campaign and being named an ambassador of Les Parfums Louis Vuitton.

Captured by artist Collier Schorr, the images put a slightly surrealist spotlight on the eye-catching fashion and fresh accessories as they emerge from the shadows of London’s Park Lane Hotel.

Louis Vuitton’s covetable handbags are styled throughout the campaign–particularly the new iterations of the Vanity and the Dauphine–to lend a timelessness to the stylized clothing.

A series of short films will also be released in February, setting the collection against a soundtrack by Sophie, who also provided audio and visual backdrops for the Spring/Summer 2020 runway show.
