Burt Reynolds was an iconic American actor, director and producer. He starred in popular films including Navajo Joe and City Heat, and quickly became a popular celebrity heartthrob. He also was on television series including Gunsmoke, Hawk, and Dan August, but it was his breakthrough role in Deliverance that launched him into stardom.
