Remembering Martin Luther King Jr.

Martin Luther King Jr. was one of the most influential leaders of the civil rights movement. He changed the course of history in the U.S. and remains a monumental figure in the fight for the rights of people of color and Black Americans. Through his immortal words in famous speeches, including “I Have a Dream” and “I Have Been to the Mountaintop,” King inspired an entire generation to practice civil disobedience and non-violent protest. Today, CR reflects on his legacy through highlighting some of his most famous quotes, and the not so widely known ones, as well.
