Before the pandemic hit, streetwear brand Kith was named an official partner of Team USA for the 2020 Summer Olympics. Ronnie Fieg, the founder of the brand, was planning to release a collection in honor of the games and a new Tokyo flagship store. However, the postponement of the Olympics to 2021 also meant a year-long delay in Fieg’s collection.

Instead, Kith will release a capsule of the Team USA kit on Friday, timed in tandem with the original start date of the games. Fieg took to social media to share the news. “This moment is still so important to me and something I’m very proud of,” he said in an Instagram post. “So I spoke with Team USA and we agreed to give the people a preview of what’s to come next year.”

The preview consists of six pieces from the Kith x Team USA collection, and includes two nylon track jackets, matching tracksuit bottoms, and dad-style baseball caps. The track sets feature red and navy stripes and embroidered Olympic rings and American flags. Similarly, the hats are emblazoned with the Team USA logo. All selected items are available in both navy and white. The rest of the collection will be unveiled next summer to coincide with the games.

The Kith x Team USA capsule will be available online from July 24 at 11 a.m. EST.
