Swedish essentials brand CDLP just released the first design in its new Mobilité activewear collection. Presenting the Mobilité boxer brief, CDLP answers its customers’ wish for a performance-grade underwear for their workouts. A full capsule of activewear foundation pieces are also to be unveiled. “CDLP Mobilité is a natural extension of our core product offering and supports a growing philosophy of self-care,” CLDP Creative Director Christian Larson said.

The garment is made from a moisture-wicking, quick drying, and anti-odor PES recycled fiber fabric. With a longer leg and breathable-mesh panels, the boxer brief’s fabric moves with the wearer’s body. The underwear is meant for running, climbing, jumping, and stretching. Larson and his team wanted to create a basic for all types of movement.“Unlike performance wear collections that focus on high endurance and resistance, we wanted to create a base layer garment that is focused on mobility for both body and soul,” the designer said. “Its design and technical enhancements for movement makes it an excellent essential for every activity.”

In keeping with both the Mobilité collection’s dedication to versatility and the brand’s core value of conscious masculinity, CDLP released an accompanying photo campaign and film starring Tumpum, a Swedish director and dancer. In the campaign Tumpum uses dance and movement to reinterpret many different athletic pursuits. In one clip, he throws punches against an invisible opponent. Tulum then thrusts as almost Tarentino-esque text flashes across the screen advertising the Boxer brief’s many merits as a piece of fitness technology. The aggregate of the artist’s work considers how we use our bodies to engage in sport and play for physical fitness, for fun, or be a part of a team bigger than oneself.

CDLP’s Mobilité Boxer Brief is now available online.
