Mytheresa Ventures into Menswear with Prada Capsule

Before Mytheresa’s upcoming debut into menswear later this month, the luxury online retailer unveils an exclusive Prada capsule collection. Available today, the Mytheresa X Prada men’s collection puts a tech-wear spin on the Italian fashion house’s archives from the early 2000s.

The 41-piece capsule fuses a sporty feel with athletic tailoring and outerwear pieces to build on the aesthetic of Prada’s Spring/Summer 2020 men’s show while also referencing the earlier collections. The house’s signature nylon is presented in the form of windbreakers and joggers, playing with a palette of rich burgundy, bright poppy, and azure blue. Beside these, classic black and khaki pairings ground the capsule’s timeless pieces. The collection wouldn’t be complete without Prada’s staple accessories including the Americas Cup sneakers, bucket hat, and crossbody bag.

To accompany the collection, Mytheresa tapped model Hao Yun Xiang for an urban and architectural campaign showing the modern man in his element.

The Mytheresa X Prada collection is the first of three new menswear collaborations for the e-commerce site. Other upcoming drops this month include capsules with Valentino and Thom Browne.
