Gucci Spring 2017 Finds The Most Epic Scenery In Rome

START

In its recent campaign history, Gucci has traveled to Germany, Japan, and the bucolic English countryside, but for Spring 2017, Alessandro Michele stayed much closer to the house’s Milanese home. The Italian creative director was inspired by neighboring Rome’s rich history and tapped Glen Luchford to stage an epic series of images in and around the city’s most well-known public spaces. Equal parts ’80s excess and fairytale romance, the resulting ads portray an outrageously glamorous group of characters, chaperoning a herd of exotic animals wherever they roam. Twelve models dine on grapes in the Parco degli Acquedotti with giraffes, swim in fountains with tigers, and watch television while wildcats lounge on their beds and leopards guard their fridge at home.
