Originally built in 1962 , John F. Kennedy Airport’s TWA Flight Center was abandoned for professional use for several years until this past Wednesday night when creative director Nicolas Ghesquière chose the space as the location for Louis Vuitton’s Resort 2020 collection. In past years, the Louis Vuitton resort collections have been held in places like Kyoto and the French Riviera, but the UFO-style space was a perfect fit to match with a collection meant for jet-setting.
