On two brand new covers, Alessandra Ambrósio and Maye Musk face the third issue of CR‘s international edition CR Fashion Book China as cross-generational models leading the industry. Musk, a best-selling author, dietician, and model known as mother to SpaceX founder Elon Musk, Kimbal Musk, and Tosca Musk rose to prominence as the divergent model defying the industry’s dated age standards. Though she began her career at 15, the 73-year-old is using her platform to speak out on ageism in modeling and how she’s working towards change. Coming together with the Brazilian-born model, businesswoman, and owner of locally-produced GAL Floripa swimwear, Ambrósio and Musk join together as women who are breaking the mold of yesterday’s supermodel and extending their titles into full-fledged powerhouses. Lensed by Shxpir Huang with fashion by Gaultier Desandre Navarre, for the first time ever Musk and Ambrósio join each other for CR Fashion Book China’s featuring two iconic faces.
