Yohji Yamamoto’s SS22 collection is wonderfully surreal. Almost as if a protagonist crawled out of the pages of a sketchbook, his collection is almost romantic in its slouchy silhouettes and hand-drawn design.

Yamamoto’s spin on traditional suits and separates makes them feel more intimate. Stretched canvas, floral prints, and exposed threads invite the viewer closer to touch, see, and feel. So too does the handpainted elements that elevate Yamamoto’s collection.
