Creative Director Anthony Vaccarello is bringing the French heritage house up and out of lockdown for Saint Laurent’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection. From hints dropped throughout the course of the past few weeks on the brand’s Instagram, it’s speculated that the show may be held at Yves Saint Laurent’s beloved Marrakech residence that he purchased in 1966 with partner Pierre Bergé. The property, which now lies as a museum, stands to homage the inspirations that influenced Saint Laurent’s work throughout his life. With images of illuminated succulents, golden desert sands, and the iconic rich Yves Klein blue-toned walls that Saint Laurent adored, see Vaccarello tap into the house’s North African heritage in a show that’s not to be missed.
