In mid-July, designer Shayne Oliver reintroduced his streetwear label Hood By Air to the fashion world after a three-year hiatus, announcing a multifaceted schedule of upcoming creative ventures and fashion drops. Today, the brand unveils a capsule collection, called H13A, that celebrates imagery and styles of the brand’s 13-year history.

The label’s July revival introduced a four-category approach to design and product launches: Hood By Air, HBA, Museum, and Anonymous Club, each of which represent specific elements of the brand’s artistic endeavors and operations. Hood By Air will set the brand’s yearly theme, HBA will sell off-season products, Anonymous Club will work to collaborate with emerging artists and businesses, and Museum will invite guest designers-in-residence to re-interpret archival pieces.

The H13A collection is the first capsule to emerge from the Museum branch, and the first of a two-part capsule. Featuring famous logos of the brand’s past, such as the cookie, spiral, and matrix, the collection itself is comprised of denim, outerwear, sweatshirts, and a range of accessories and art pieces.

Hood By Air’s storied logos are emblems of the popularization of luxury streetwear int he 2000s, with stars like A$AP Rocky and Rhianna sporting the spiral and cookie logos at awards shows and events.

Today’s Museum drop will be followed by a second capsule collection. The forthcoming drop, which is made up of a more structured designs such as leather pants and jackets, will be released in September, with both capsules available exclusively on the brand’s official website.
