Farfetch Releases Rare Archival Chanel Collection

Select pieces from Chanel’s archives are now available to shop on Farfetch. Launching today on the e-commerce site, the 50-piece collection of vintage fashion, jewelry, and accessories from the French fashion house comes courtesy of London-based vintage specialist store Rewind and its owner, Claudia Ricco.

Originally owned by socialite Catherine McNulty, the pieces from her private collection were offered to Ricco following McNulty’s passing. The assortment of vintage Chanel comes from collections spanning from 1988 to 1991–a formative period of Karl Lagerfeld’s time as creative director of the brand–and features fashion worn by supermodels such as Claudia Schiffer, Inès de la Fressange, and Yasmin Le Bon.

From camellia brooches to classic quilted handbags and tweed jackets, the vintage treasure trove includes timeless Chanel trademarks and a number of rare finds.
