The fashion industry is making philanthropic gestures large and small to aid coronavirus relief efforts. Peer-to-peer online marketplace Vestiaire Collective is the latest to join, launching a charity sale that features pieces from the wardrobes of fashion stars such as Kate Moss, Claire Waight Keller, Margherita Missoni, and Carine, among other celebrities like Rachel Weisz and Thandie Newton.
All of the proceeds from the auctioned luxury items will benefit non-profit organizations working to combat the coronavirus pandemic, including the World Health Organization, France-Paris Hospitals Foundation, and La Paz Hospital in Madrid.
The selection includes brands such as Prada, Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Chloé, and more. From leather bags to timeless trench coats, there’s no shortage of options. While perhaps the most covetable piece of all–Moss’ vintage faux fur leopard print jacket–has already been snagged, there are still plenty of designer finds to shop for a cause.
Vestiaire Collective’s COVID-19 Charity Sale is open online now.
